Description: In great condition and has been completely restored and calibrated. Total re-cap as some of the originals were dead, dying or drifted from spec. I then tracked down a bad transistor in the input buffer. The tape cartridge has been completely restored. Opened without damage and cleaned, then reloaded with 2.5 meters of new high-end tape made especially for tape echo machines and then installed a new, custom made foam pressure pad. These cartridges are getting more rare, so need to take care of the ones that remain. Cleaned and de-magnetized the tape heads, then re-calibrated/biased the record/erase heads for best performance. Lots of life left in the heads. Sounds truly amazing. Very lo-fi with that touch of warble in the repeats that makes these so great. Can go into self-oscillation. I am also including a Pete's Pedals Foot Fetish footswitch for remote bypass of the echo (preamp stays in play when in bypass). Need a mono instrument cable for this of the length you need. Not a lot of these were made. They were intended to be the poor musicians Echoplex. It seems they were only made in 1972, but I am not sure about that.
