Description: RARE 1973 1st First World Hot Air Balloon Championship Program Albuquerque. This event became the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. (AIBF) It will again host pilots and visitors from the world starting Oct 5 this year. The idea was always to encourage ballooning with an international event. This first program features short bio's of pilots from around the world. A "yearbook" of sorts, the programs still have a photo of each balloon registered for the event.
