This 1973-74 New York Knicks program is for the October 9, 1973 SEASON OPENER game vs. Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden. I attended that game and purchased this program over 50 years ago. The Knicks were the reigning “World Champions” (noted on front cover), so this was their first regular game after winning that championship in 1972-73. Program is fully-intact, with minor wear only. However, I did cross out some non-players on the scoresheet page (see picture in listing) and wrote won vs. lost comments on the schedule page (see picture in listing). When closed, size is approximately 8 1/2” by 11”. Program has 84 pages! There's even a page picturing Alice Copper and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.
