Description: 1974 original Chicago White Sox program from July 16, 1974. The White Sox got over .500 by shutting out the Tigers 6-0 with a complete game by Jim Kaat. Dick Allen homered (his 22nd) off Mickey Lolitch in front of 14,876. But what's best is that I went to the Sox bullpen and got both Bart Johnson and Terry Forster's signatures on the back of the scorebook! Only marks on the scorebook are their signatures on the back and the date of the game I wrote in the front back in 1974. And of course scoring the game which included Sox greats Carlos May, Brian Downing, Bill Melton, Ed Herrmann, Bucky Dent, Jim Kaat and former Cub Ron Santo. The Tigers included Mickey Lolitch, Al Kaline, Bill Freehan and Mickey Stanley. Don't know why Willie Horton wasn't playing. Seems like he always killed the Sox. The cover is pretty loose at this point but the program is otherwise in pretty good shape and the autographs are nice and clear.
