Judith Forst, a Canadian born Mezzo Soprano will be one of the featured soloists in performances of J.S. Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" today and tomorrow in the Opera House. She will join Dolores Strazicich (soprano), Philip Langridge (tenor) and Gerard Souzay (baritone) along with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Seattle Symphony Chorale, under the baton of Rainer Miedel, for an abridged production of Bach's 1734 masterpiece. The Symphony performed the "Christmas Oratorio" last year to two sold out houses in St. Mark's Cathedral. Today's performance begins a 3 pm; the oratorio will be heard again tomorrow at 8 pm. tickets are reportedly still available for both performances. Photo measures 7.25 x 9.5 inches.
