Description: This my friends is the REAL DEAL, and this is a Fully Nickel American Made with pride and Certified Grade AAA BMX Icon the December 1979 Team Mongoose/Factory Race Super Goose. Team mongoose race bike, also according to records This is the final edition of the first year Supergoose; Rare. This bike was originally sold by Bob Broadley at the famous Moped South BMX shop Miami Florida. It was customized over the years but retains many of its original parts. T stamped crank hanger and flattened seat/ chain stay. Original decals were supergoose but I replaced them all with fresh NOS 1979 set. This ride has a mongoose stamped bottom bracket, mongoose stamped headset, pro class bars, Takagi MX cromoly cranks, Shimano 44T sprocket,original DID nickel chain, KKT K-MX rat trap pedals, Pro class dark gold Dia Compe Tech 3 MX brakes and pro class clear Dia Comp cables, mongoose NOS grips, Mongoose NOS pads, ACS fluted dark gold seatpost, clamp, viscount diamond quilted mongoose seat, double clamp stem with custom red clamps, polished chrome clamp bolts and wedge bolt,( originals included) Tange TX 500 forks, Mongoose team bike only prism decal from 1979. Mongoose Pro class wheels with red prism effect striping looks like sparkling rubies and very cool in the sun, Cheng Shin gumwall 1.75 Compe 3 tires, tubes, MCS rear axle nuts and valve stem caps. Bike shows nicely and would make anyone proud.
