The head badge sn is 1181?. Last digit is covered with a factory rivet) mens Schwinn TRAVELER 10-speed road touring bicycle with 27" wheels. It is in the original and very appealing red and white 2-tone colored factory paint. If you like COOL LOOKING better quality vintage original road bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! *This bike has a cool original design Schwinn "X-Tra Lite" lightweight butted tubing frame with original paint and decals, chrome tip forks, Schwinn head badge, Silstar 3-piece aluminum cranks, (Bmx guys and gals like these) Schwinn road bike seat/saddle, drop style aluminum handlebars, Custom aluminum neck, aluminum twin stick shifters, center pull brakes, rat trap pedals, Shimano 400 rear derailleurs, and more! I believe this bike is mostly all original parts from when it was new. (see pics and be your own judge) *I recently got this bike from the original owner. I think it is such an appealing looking bike! *The tires are 27x1 1/4". They are vintage tires and do hold air. (ok for display) The bike has Schwinn chrome wheels front and rear! *The bike is an original 10-SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) *DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 33". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 33 1/4". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 23". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. SHIPPING NOTE.... due to the tall size frame, the shop that packs sometimes removes both wheels, pads the frame and actually ships in the box upside down. They have done many of these before and they have always arrived safely. Just to give you a heads up. NO CHARGE LOCAL PICKUP is always an option! *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I LOVE the fact that this bike still wears its original paint. (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid. *This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.
