This card set is being marketed to only a specific target customer in mind. This is being marketed to the Strat O Matic baseball fan or collector who would value the original issued, complete, 1982 season card set. Casual fans of the game will note that the game company has re-issued the 1982 season to include the super advanced format rules. However, i you are a fan or collector looking for the original issue of the 1982 season, this listing is for your review and consideration. This card set is, in my opinion, in average to above average condition taking into consideration its release date of over 40 years ago. This card set is an original issue which was printed and released following the 1982 season. On balance, the set, as a whole, has aged fairly well. However, there are a few individual cards that have blemishes. This season card set contains all 26 teams. Each of the 26 teams contain 20 players. This card set does not contain any additional players. I have included several photos of the card set. In the photos, the basic game data are displayed with the American League teams (black text on a white background). The advanced game data is displayed with the National League teams of that year (blue text on a white background). I have included several pictures that will hopefully give you a flavor of the condition of the card set. You will note that I take all the photos in my listings myself and the cards displayed in the listing are the actual cards you are purchasing. As mentioned earlier, there are several individual player cards that have some blemishes or other imperfections. I have included several pictures that show these cards and the various imperfections. I believe it is important to accurately give the potential buyer a complete picture of the card set. In addition, I acquired this card set from a private party a few years ago. Upon reviewing the cards, I noticed that the entire Philadelphia Phillies card set seemed unusual. While the cards look good, it appears the team set was kept together by paper clips, which apparently resulted in the cards for that team being a little bent. I have included a photo with a side view for review. The set is being marketed to a fan who values the ability to playing season replays. I am particularly fond of this season’s memories as I witnessed my local home team, the then-known California Angels, won the American League West division that year.
