Last Saturday, dancers between the ages of 8 and 13 were invited to audition for parts in the forthcoming Atlanta Ballet Company's presentation of "The Nutcracker" at Ruth Eckerd Hall Dec. 28 through 30. Aspiring dancers met at Peggie's Dance Academy in Clearwater, where Jo Ann Lee, director of the children for the Atlanta Ballet Co., conducted the auditions. Those selected spent the rest of the day Saturday in rehearsals. And they must attend all practice sessions until the arrival of the company in Clearwater in December.
