The blade is made of stainless steel and the handle is made of bone. The knife has a slipjoint lock type and is manually opened. The blade edge is plain and the color of the knife is red. This item is perfect for collectors of vintage folding knives or for those who appreciate the ambidextrous dexterity of the knife. It is an original piece made in the United States in 1988 and is a great addition to any collection. I wasn't familiar with Happy Jack knives until I acquired this one, but I am IMPRESSED! The quality and craftsmanship is second to none. Fit 'n Finish is superb and the blade configuration is wildly perfect. I'm listing this knife as "used" but it has never been used or carried. Still has the factory edge on the blades. No chips or cracks in the GORGEOUS jigged red bone handles. The blades both walk and talk just like this knife looks...bada**! That, in no way, cuts the quality of the time and effort put into making sure that each item is safely and securely packaged. My wish is that each and every item I ship reaches its new owner in exactly the same condition it was in when it left my hands.
