Description: DC Comics, Batman # 436 Comic Book (1st Printing) from 1989 COMIC HAND SIGNED BY COVER ARTIST GEORGE PEREZ, ARTIST PAT BRODERICK, & BY WRITER MARV WOLFMAN! (see my other auctions for more signed comics & cards). Comic was hand signed by artists Pat Broderick & George Perez at the annual Baltimore Comic-Con 2009, and by writer Marv Wolfman at the annual Baltimore Comic-Con 2010. It comes with a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) & 2 POA's (Proof Of Authenticity). 3 autographs for 1 bid! It comes with 2 POA's and a COA! Sadly George Perez passed away May 6, 2022, he will be missed. Comic is in a VF or better condition. Back cover has a small crease along top and small bend to lower right corner front cover, see pics, otherwise displays beautifully.Comic will be shipped fully insured! To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me, or my proof of admission to the convention and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at early conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the seller of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the seller who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me. If you prefer a certificate I also provide those upon request.
