Description: Fully illustrated and published in 1989 by Rizzoli, this is the 312 page hardcover book by Kurt Wilhelm all about the great composer Richard Strauss. Good history, even covers the controversial time he was Hitler's minister of music or whatever he was called. Sadly this is only in acceptable condition mainly because there are probably a dozen pages where there is yellow highlighting over full paragraphs. Even violinists study their history. Other than that there is some edge wear on the jacket and some soiling spots on the exterior on the page edges around the outside in spots. Construction is solid. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows.
