Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental Inc. has purchased a German-made Mannesman-Demag AC615, 250-ton capacity, hydraulic, all-terrain crane. The company said that it is the largest mobile crane based in Wisconsin. The new crane combined the reach and lifting capabilities of a tower crane with the versatility of an all-terrain crane. The Demag crane will be outfitted with a "Super Lifting" attachment to increase its hoisting capabilities. In addition, the crane will be equipped with boom extension attachments that give it a maximum boom point elevation of 338-feet. Dawes is a Milwaukee-based crane rental company.
