Description: My son got this shirt when he was visiting his uncle in San Francisco in 1996. He had recently "come out" and it was his first time participating in any kind of public gay event. Of course the San Francisco pride parade is a huge pride celebration. The shirt has singe stitch sleeves. Underarm to underarm, laying flat, it measures 21 and 1/2 inches. Shoulder sleeve to bottom of shirt, it measures 26 and 1/2 inches. This shirt celebrates San Francisco's 1996 LGBTQ Pride event. It used to be called Lesbian and Gay Liberation Day. The name was later changed to include bisexual and transgender identities as well. The parade features hundreds of different contingents that range from local businesses to leather communities to drag performers. Because the shirt has been washed it is a soft black, not a hard, brand new black, but it is definitely black, not gray. The only possible flaw is a bit of cracking on the top of the graphics in the word "Transgender", as shown in the last photograph.
