I do not believe it was ever fired but since I am not the original owner I cannot be sure. If not, perhaps you can tell folks it stands for "Dedicated Smoker" lol. Either way this is spectacular! It IS over 30 years old. Despite it being in new condition, you may want to polish it to make it shine more. Mild patina is expected for the age. Also aging and scratches inside the lighter.
