Description: Good used 550 fan cooled Polaris motor. This is the older style 1999-2006 model with iron lined cylinders. It will work on any newer sled with a 550 as well, it just has slightly less horsepower than the newer motors (and the newer motors have nikasil cylinders). This motor was freshened up with a new mag side crank bearing, crank inspected and trued, new gaskets and seals, and new SPI pistons. It was bored .010” over to clean up some pitting in the cylinders, but a little bit of the pitting still remains. Should still run just fine. See pictures. Also, one of the bolts for the shroud got broken off. Includes the rest of the gaskets to help with your reinstall. Free shipping.
