Description: Description: Here is a great piece of Late Victorian Era mauchline or treen ware. It has a nice little brass clasp that still works and the original covering on the base. On the lid is a scene from Union Street in Aberdeen, Scotland from sometimes in the late 1800s judging by the horses and carriages in the picture. It is in great shape for being well over 100 years old. It has all the dings, dangs, marks and rubs that we expect to see on a piece of this age as you can tell from my pictures. Please check out all my photos to judge the color and condition for yourself. The box measures around 4” L x 3” W x 2” T Keep Coming back to see what the relicseeker has to offer. I travel all around New Hampshire, Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts scouting out places for hidden gems. I have a good eye for what people want and there are plenty of places for me to ferret out antiques and collectible from yesterday and a few gems that will become the antiques of tomorrow. I try to take detailed pictures of my items but cannot capture every detail. I am not a collector of these items. I often get pieces in box lots with items I do collect and then sell off the other treasures I find to those who will surely appreciate them. All sales are final and "as is, as seen" unless you receive an item that was not in the pictures in this listing. Shipping: I take great care in wrapping fragile items and have enjoyed great success. I will only ship items under 4lbs. overseas as they can go by First Class Mail as the USPS has discontinued Overseas Parcel Post. I have been selling on eBay for over a decade and try to be fair in all deals. I use this user ID to buy and sell hobby collectibles only because I find it an enjoyable pastime.
