We picked up a pretty large collection of slide from the 1960s to the early 1970s several years ago and just put them in one of the closets in the house. We got the collection form a lady who worked for and retired from the Red Cross. She moved to Korea before the Korean War and before it was split into North and South Korea. She later moved to Vietnam during the Korean War before moving back home to the states and retiring from the organization. There are some really cool slides in here of some from throughout North Africa, Asia and the United States. For sale is a pair of pretty cool 35mm slides of Skagway, Alaska that were developed at Dedman's Photo Shop on Skagway.These slides aren't dated, but they are certainly from the 1960s given that all of our other slides from Alaska were dated in the 1960s.These slides include a cool shot of some Can Can Girls dancing and a play being performed of The Shooting of Dan McGrew. It would be cool to know where these two events were performed in Skagway.The slides are in excellent, undamaged condition and ready to be turned into photographs if desired.PLEASE NOTE: Our lighted table doesn't have a very strong light, so the slides aren't as bright as they would be when lit by a stronger light, such as in a projector. However, the slides are quite a bit brighter than shown in the pictures. These slides will be shipped in a padded envelope via media mail with the USPS.
