Description: Great lot of 2 different antique pewter plates with the same patter but different marks - total weight for both = 2 lbs 11 oz3 different halmarks each which I have had a devil of a time trying to identify - so if you have any information about the halmarks please message me so I can learn more about these craftsman as well as update this with more accurate information. Plate 1 - 8.25" diameter plate - Has 3 marks on the underside - first one looks to be a lion or horse on the hind legs holding a knife in one hand and an unknown object in the other - Could be a dragon? with 1767 above it or a backwards L 767 - Next one (center) looks like a man holding a sword in one hand with letters surounding the oval that it is in but I cant make out the words - Last one is a crown in a sheld with S.W. FEIN ZIN with feather image surrounding the letters. Plate 2 - The same pattern as plate 1 and 8.25" diameter - 3 halmarks on the underside The first one is an oval with a wreath and bow at the bottom could be a person or angel in the center with words surrounding the oval shape but most of it is not present. The next one in the center is an oval with a wreath and bow at the top with a crown and S:W: the rest is not present. The last one is an oval with a wreath with a flower at the 3 o'clock and could be a dragon or horse with a crown and tung sticking out and at least 2 tails possible. the rest is not present.
