2 Beautiful 1940s Composition BRIDE & BRIDESMAID Wedding Dolls ORIGINAL OUTFITS

Description: TWO Pretty, 1940's BRIDE with her BRIDESMAID DOLLSI do not know ther true age or maker. I believe they are an early Little Wendy Ann Madame Alexander dolls. BOTH in very good condition for being 80 plus years old, with their original bridal outfits, including shoes and socks. I'm 78 years old and these were given to me by my mother who was born in 1921. She loved collecting dolls and I continued the tradition. My daughter and granddaughter loved their dolls, but never considered collecting or keeping them after they got older. The Bride - Dressed in a White Satin Taffeta Dress, with a lace ruffle and 3 snaps that work. 11" Composition doll's body, arms, and face in near perfect condition. Face has a tiny spot of paint missing off the tip of her nose and light grazing across her face (only saw it when I blew-up the photo). She has a hard to read makers mark on the back of her head (see photo)Her blonde hair is made of Mohair in perfect un-touched style, exactly as designed in the 1930's or 1940's. Bride's veil as two small holes that can be repaired in the back, can carefully be removed and replaced. Brides wedding flowers look original. Original socks and shoes. Bride has clear, realist brown eyes that open and close. She has gray eye-shadow. Has realistic eyelashes, closed mouth with cupid red lips The Bridesmaid - Dressed in a soft lilac taffeta satin dress with trim the same embroidered pink flowers. The cute felt sun-style hat has the same embroidered pink roses as on the dress. Her hand has two tiny cracks on one hand. Cute Side-Looking Eyes are hand painted. Composition material is in great condition. She has two small cracks inside her hand. No other cracks or grazing. Stands will be included with both dolls. Shipped insured NOTE.
