Description: Regular list price $27.98...Holiday Shopping Sale now $21.98! Two very clean large 1 liter stoneware/pottery heavy weight Beck's for Octoberfest Beer Steins 1996 and 1998. They look similar at first glance but there are a few differences: The colorful logos vary in color, the Beck's logos are slightly different, the fonts and sizes of the lettering and the numbers also vary. The condition of the 1996 logo shows some minor wear to the surface. Please see the close up photos to see the very small 1/16" flaw to the navy blue "banner" under the first "e" in Oktoberfest. There are some spots where the color has dulled a bit. The 1998 logo is in very nice condition. Both steins are marked with the same embossed logo up toward the top of the handle. Please see photos. --------------- Weights and heights measurements are approximate: 1996 stein weighs 2 lbs. 9.5 oz. 1998 weighs 2 lbs. 9.9 oz. The height of the two was noticed only when a ruler was placed across the rims of both steins and found to vary by approximately 1/16". The1996 - 7 11/16 ins. while the 1998 is 7 12/16" -------------- A nice addition to a Breweriana Collection. These two have been part of our family's collection for many years. They have only been used for display and then were safely packed and stored for several years. They have never been used for drinking.When I looked over the steins I did see a few minor manufacturing imperfections. As much extra time and care I take to provide details for you it is impossible to capture every one in a photo. There may be little flaws I did not see. I have included photos that may also have my written description right on the photo. The written details in the photos may not all be included here so please be sure to look at those as well. Wouldn't these be great steins for handing to your buddies with a cold one when they stop in to visit or for adding to your creative breweriana displays!
