These shock absorbers feature a monotube design which provides consistent fade free performance. B8 5100 shock absorbers utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions. All B8 5100 shock absorbers are tuned for each specific application to assure optimal performance is achieved. B8 5100 shock absorbers offer a significant improvement in ride quality, handling, and comfort. These shocks are longer than the OE units allowing 0-3.0" of lift in the front end. They also include the needed hardware so they can be used on vehicles running aftermarket upper control arms, but will work perfect on a bone stock truck as well. Please be aware that the original stock shocks that came on your truck are too short. This factory over site can cause a harsh ride, especially when the vehicles torsion keys are adjusted or replaced with lifting keys. These shock are designed to address this problem and give you the needed suspension travel for the quality ride you want in your HD.
