Obverse has images of six children at Auschwitz, symbolizing the 6 million victims with words "In Memory of the Concentration and Death Camps 1942-1992" in Hebrew and English; reverse has electrified fence with a watch tower against a background of shacks and rising smoke w/names of six death camps, Treblinka, Chelmno, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Maidanek, Sobibor, Belzeck in Hebrew/Latin letters. Rim is stamped with State of Israel, Bronze Tombac, #0947. In good shape, includes pamphlet with summary, as well as box and Certificate of Authenticity. Measures approx 2 3/4" diameter. (See pic's for greater detail). 2) State of Israel Exodus 1947 Bronze Medal; Obverse depicts Exodus 1947 ship, which carried Jewish Immigrants from France to British Palestine in 1947 and the words "Exodus 1947" in Hebrew and English, along with the date 18-7-47, the date Exodus was captured by the British mid-ocean and her 4,530 passengers were deported in the British transport ships to Hamburg, Germany; Reverse depicts clenched fist hold the flag of Israel breaking through a wire enclosure separating sea from land, as a symbol of the relentless struggle for fleeing Immigrants and the establishment of State of Israel. Rim has emblem of the State of Israel in Hebrew & English, stamped #0675, designed by Ruth Lubin, measures approx 2-3/4", in case with no Certificate or stand, minor age tarnish (see pic's for greater details); and 3) A Catalog of Holocaust Medals, A History Etched in Medal by Severin Szperling with his daughter Julie Szperling, 250pp, all pn near perfect condition, no markings, bent corners and gently used if at all used, measures 10 x 7".
