Description: Here is a pair of an extremely rare original 1800s US made playing cards! I pulled these cards out of an authentic partial deck from the 1860-80s. They were printed in New York by the Samuel Hart Playing Card Co. These types of cards were used during the Civil War and in Old West saloons!! The condition is very good. There is some minor wear on the edges from play. See pictures for best description of condition. US playing cards with one way courts (whole body) were made throughout the 1800s up until the 1880s. It’s extremely difficult to find authentic gambling US-made playing cards from this time period! This beautiful set of playing cards will look perfect in your historical display!!
