Description: Vintage Railroad Rubber Stamps Click images to enlarge Description Rare Original Lot of 2 (Two) Vintage Antique Penn Central Transportation Co. Advertising Wood Handle Rubber Stamps includes the following: 1- "PENN CENTRAL TRANSPORTATION CO." Rubber Stamp measures approximately 3" in height. The handle is marked "Bogart BUSINESS FORMS, ERIE, PENNA.". 2- "TRANS. DEPT." Rubber Stamp measures approximately 2-5/8" in height. The handle is marked "KIMMEL PRINTING & STAMP CO., ERIE PA.". The Rubber Stamps are believed to have been used in Penn Central's Offices in Cleveland, Ohio. The Rubber Stamps likely date to the late 1960's following the merger of the Pennsylvania, New York Central and New York, New Haven and Hartford railroads in early 1968. They remain in Very Good Condition for their Considerable Age. Please see accompanying photographs.
