Description: Estate items sold as found. Research and description: Pair (2) original cast and plated Variomaster candleholders designed by Caesar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel. Manufactured by Quist/BMF in West Germany in the 1960s. These MCM pieces are called "Variomaster 3-Flame" distinguished by their brutalist design. They are either plated nickel or chrome. These candleholders are modular, stacking pieces which fit perfectly in each other. They are marked "Quist" on the base. Condition: Normal wear and scuffing from stacking. Some was residue in candleholder areas.
