Description: This sale is for two (2) Theodore Roosevelt teddy Bears......... both have Roosevelt's iconic wire-rim glasses and bushy mustache:-One depicts Teddy Roosevelt, in cowboy hat and bandana, during his time on a ranch in the Dakota Territory (now North Dakota), This bear was distributed by Dayton Hudson Corp. in 1987, "...to promote the indomitable spirit and proud heritage of the state of North Dakota." He stands about 15" tall and still has his original hang-tag.- The other Teddy is dressed as a Rough Rider in khaki jacket and soft hat, with plaid scarf and brown belt. He was made by Dan Dee in 2002 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the teddy bear (one of his feet is embroidered with Special Edition Teddy Bear and the other says 100th Anniversary). He is a seated bear, about 13" tall in that position.' Both pre-owned, but displayed rather than played with, and are in excellent condition.Non-smoking environment
