Silver plated. It is made of copper and silver plated. Small size charm - 5/8" x 7/16". Coin shown for size comparison. Pins like this were usually produced to sell or handout at first flight public showcases. Military commissaries also offered pins like these for purchase. They are NEW OLD STOCK, never used, kept packaged since new. They are also genuine original pins, not reproductions as most sellers offer online. Most of those are made in China but these pins are period correct and these were made in the USA.
