Description: Two great sets of vintage railroad souvenir playing cards from the Southern Pacific Lines. These decks feature the "Daylight" train art work on the backs- the route that ran from LA to San Francisco starting in 1937. The faces feature wonderful pictures of US sights and landmarks. Cards have gold edges with virtually no wear to the edging. they are great time capsules! Both sets have the original booklets that provides details on the landmarks on the face photos, a Bridge scoring card and a salad bowl advert card for the dining/snack car. Unfortunately while one deck is complete with all 52 cards plus a joker (single joker), the other set is *missing the 2 and 3 of spades and has no joker. The 'salad bowl extra cards could work as fillers if needed.
