Description: These unique plates are very likely a product of the late 30s to the late 40s- after that, the stamp GERMANY would have been GDR or Western Germany. The design style is very unusual for that period, because the larger plate is asymmetric (see photos). Also, the size is really small: The larger plate measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/8" and the rim is 3/4" high on one end, 1 1/4" on the other end. The triangular plate measures 2 3/4 x 2 3/4". Both are marked with the green underglaze stamp GEROLD & CO, TETTAU Bavaria, and a golden stamp GERMANY.There is no damage or paint loss, both items are in beautiful condition.Will be shipped quickly and very well protected.
