Description: 2 Wireless Motion Sensor LED Lights For Closets Or Shelves---I bought a box of 4 of these lights for my personal use. My daughter complained one day when she went to use the can opener in a dark corner spot where the wall cabinets met. I thought another in by basement work room where the ceiling light is turned on by pulling a string on a center. Now when someone opens the door a light comes on so they can see whatever is sitting in the narrow pathway. They are fun to put together and fun to use plus it adds safety to the areas where they are installed. The lights are sensitive to both motion and body heat. These two are leftovers. I have other places I would use them but the household engineer, without explaining why exactly, prefers darkness. They both work and I have included photos of them lighting up. They are powered by 4 AA batteries. The good news is that they turn off quickly when the person moves away from the light, or as in the case of my work room, immediately after the door closes. (I cracked it so I could see how fast it worked.) Brand new but I opened the boxes to test them. They all worked. Here is how they work:. Overall length is about 7 in. It is mostly of plastic construction but the top has a metal. Attached to that bar is a magnetic strip which is the length of the device. (Photo 5) This striped cover peels off to reveal a very stick adhesive. This way you can attach it to any flat surface, wood, plastic, etc. BEFORE YOU DO THIS TEST YOUR LIGHT TO MEASURE ITS EFFECTIVENESS BY JUST HOLDING IT to select the best way to attach it. I know by experience that this thing will peel paint from your walls. In the very last picture you can see the little bump of teat. This is the sensor. It will react to motion and/or thermal heat.It is best to put this up in near dark conditions. The one I put up in mid day with the curtains closed was slow to function but later that night I walked it to get a cookie from the jar and my sneak attack was foiled. I love these things.
