A nylon string iteration of Breedlove’s perennial favorite SC20 deep-bodied concert model, this finely crafted instrument features a ladder-braced Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. Tonally, this SN20 is exceedingly sweet and warm: the bass response is broad and open with just a touch of growl. The treble strings yield a fantastic balance of punchy pluck and smoothness, sweet and lyrical with a pronounced, vocal-like midrange that stands up well to the breadth and airiness of the low end. Individual notes sing out with clarity and immediacy, perfect for melodic playing and complex, well-articulated chords.
