A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as many vehicles today will require this. Some parts will not work if not properly installed. That doesn’t mean the part is defective ( sometimes they are). In some cases used electronic parts need to be adapted by an official vehicle dealer or certified mechanical shop, i.e. reprogramming or removing of anti-theft protection from your vehicle is required.
