During this period of time, sports cards were already starting to be produced to reflect this newcoming phenom to the NBA. Rookie Review Magazine who had a well established following then produced thousands of perforated cards which were attached inside the sale of their retail magazines. Similar to the Sports Illustrated for Kids card made famous by Tiger Woods, This Lebron James card is now considered one if not the only True Rookie of Lebron James. No other card pictures Lebron James at the Addidas ABCD camp as a teenager. Within this magazine issuance, the company also released /99 Gold perforated editions for selected subscribers which are still today rarely seen. In time, Rookie Review Staff decided to have Lebron James Sign (2) coveted laser cut editions to then be released into circulation. It is unknown if the other card has ever resurfaced after all these years or if this card remains the only true survivor from that rare high school era. This card was signed by Lebron James as a teenager and is a PRE-NBA signature. This card is also the first #'d (numbered) Lebron James Autographed card. The signature is extremely clean.
