When activated by sound sensor or a button on the front (a side switch determines which), the pirate says one of several phrases along with his eyes budging, mouth opening and tongue sticking out. The tongue's made of a rubber that's lost some of it's elasticity with age and will stick out and retract on que as long as its kept outside the mouth door when in it's retracted position. If its kept inside the frame behind the mouth door, it will extend but NOT out the front. It works quite well if kept outside (see video). It will be shipped with the tongue tucked inside. Frame is in good condition overall. Measurers roughly 15" x 12" . Battery compartment door is missing although the batteries seem to stay in place without it once fully inserted. Battery compartment is clean. Includes original box which has wear/tear. Requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Item is sold AS-IS in condition stated with all sales final.
