Description: This is a Saarinen Executive Chair, Model 71 APC, originally designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. These particular examples date to 2009. The listed price includes one chair, and we have two chairs available for purchase. Their design features legs of polished tubular steel, and has an upholstered seat and back. It is currently upholstered in a horizontally striped dark brown velour fabric. Each chair measures 24.75 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have an 18-inch seat height, and a 25-inch arm height. The upholstery has a handful of small spots, and shows a bit of fading. The bases have a few errant scratches, but present quite nicely. Overall, these chairs are in good condition with some wear apparent. Please see photos. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction.
