Description: This is an old hardcover book with dust jacket, 8 1/2" x 5 3/4", 195 pages, entitled "WHEN THAT ROUGH GOD GOES RIDING: Listening To Van Morrison." The book was written by Greil Marcus, it is copyright 2010 (first edition), and published by The Peguses Group, New York... The book is a fascinating review and in-depth explanation/interpretation of every record album, and many of the singles that have been released by Van Morrison, starting with his first album release, Blowin' Your Mind (1967), and ending with Keep It Simple, released in2008, just two years before this book was published. Greil also discusses the couple of years in the early 60s that Morrison spent as a member of the group, THEM, where he was their primary songwriter and the band's lead singer... I really enjoyed reading this book, I've taken good care of it, and now it's time for it to belong to someone else. Both the book and the dust jacket are in mint condition. No soiling, no creases on any of the pages, no rips or tears, no writing on any of the pages, no damage of any kind! Buyer pays $4.30 shipping... NOTE: The 3 or 4 vertical lines that you see on the front cover of the book are not any type of damage. The cover was printed to look that way.
