The coin is certified as nearly flawless and is priced to sell. The coin in the photo may or may not be the one you receive as I have more than one of these sets to sell, however all of these coins are near flawless, certified coins with little if any variation that a photo might actually show! In 2014 the mint surprised collectors with an “enhanced” coin in the 2014 Coin & Currency Sets. The enhanced Sacagawea was not available in any other mint products and the Coin & Currency set was limited to a mintage of 50,000. The mint also did not let anyone know of a different coin in the Coin & Currency set than normal (i.e. normal being a regular circulation strike coin). Once it was realized that a unique coin was in the 2014 Coin & Currency sets these sets quickly sold out. The certified coin in this listing is one of the 50,000 coins with an “enhanced” finish that was part of a 2014 Coin & Currency Set. A description of the 2014 design from the mint is as follows: 2014 - Native Hospitality Coin commemorates how Native American hospitality ensures the success of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Its reverse design depicts a Native American man offering a pipe while his wife offers provisions of fish, corn, roots and gourds. In the background is a stylized image of the face of William Clark's compass highlighting "NW," the area in which the expedition occurred.
