This Jazzmaster is a model only intended for sale to a Japanese domestic audience and select international markets, sourced directly from Tokyo. A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jazzmaster platform, the new Traditional II 60s model features redesigned vintage-style pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, vintage-style hardware, and a modern 9 1/2" radius on the rosewood fingerboard. The instrument has plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two "Vintage Style" single coil pickups. Engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds.
