The obverse of the 1 oz Silver South Korean Tiger Medal portrays a majestic Korean tiger. In this final design, the tiger is shown leaping out from the foliage, perhaps hunting. The design also includes an engraved paw print and the name of Hallasan. Inscriptions here read KOREAN TIGER, 2024, 1 OZ, and HALLASAN. On the reverse of the Silver 2024 South Korean Tiger Medals, the series’ consistent design element is featuredthe Korean peninsula. This image uses characters from the Korean alphabet to form the peninsula’s shape, without political boundaries. The inscriptions read REPUBLIC OF KOREA and FINE SILVER 999. There is also a security feature that reads 999 and when tilted says Ag the symbol for silver. These are bullion coins there may be small imperfections this happens mainly during the minting process.
