Description: On offer, we have the poster Jim Salzer's concert at Earl Warren Showgrounds, Santa Barbara. February 3, 1968: pretty special night. The concert featured Big Brother And The Holding Co., Electric Flag and Sweetwater. This was one of the last concerts where Janis Joplin (pictured on poster) was lead singer for Big Brother And The Holding Co. Who knew? The bold bright poster design was by Frank Bettencourt. I believe this is the 2nd printing. The poster measures 21 5/8" by 16 5/8". It is printed on white paper. The back has the original purchase price in pencil, $75. I am not an expert on posters, but believe this is in excellent condition. There is a 3/8" shallow chip on the top left. The left edge next to Janis has a small ripple in the paper. The poster has been handled, but I see no other flaws. Please view my photographs for more description.
