Here in the shop, we actually use the 2314 with the larger opening SquarePlug SP500 Right Angle and SPS5 Straight connectors and add a length of 1/4" 2:1 Heat Shrink on each end which virtually eliminates any play at the cable opening and adds an extra layer of protection at the solder joints.
