I don't know the exact cross breeding, sorry. It is not grown commercially here, it is found only in private collections and orchards. Here it is known simply as "Red Atemoya". you can note it is very different from a Purple Sugar Apple.This plant is a small tree, Normally it will remain quite short and compact, if pruned annually it will remain no more than 4 meters tall. in case one doesn't prune the tree annually it will achieve 10 meters after many years.It will start producing fruit at the height of about 6 feet in height or 3-5 years old.The fruit itself is quite sweet and is very much like the Green Atemoya. fruits should be picked when they are starting to become soft to touch, you should monitor them every day.A fully Grown plant can bear 10's of fruits every year.Growing: This plant is hardy to about 26F when fully grown, it can be grown anywhere in the tropics and the sub-tropics It requires good Drainage for best growth and is not too picky about soil types.The plant will benefit from full sun.This plant likes lots of water year round
