Abundant blooms in full to part sun. Abundant seed pods in late season. Thorn Apple is less fragrant but more vigorous than the white Datura Wrightii. It has a purple center. Very easy and tolerant plant. A show stopper. They reseed easily in bare spots. Pods can be cut off when small if you don't want the seeds. They are softer when small, but can be hard to handle once big. I use a bloom booster from Miracle Gro to encourage more blooms. Protect from pests. Slugs like these when they are small. Neem based sprays are helpful. Plant or pot up soon after receipt. You can pot up into a larger pot until they are a bit bigger, if you are concerned about pests in the ground.
