3 Antique 1880's School Primary Reading Charts McGuffey Electric Reader Rare

Description: Three beautiful original Victorian McGuffey's Reading Charts~ Double Sided with metal grommets for hanging. These Rare Charts were utilized by the classroom teacher to read along with the students as they went through their McGuffey Electric Reader books in class. They could have been displayed on an easel (like the picture showing the similar Monroe's classroom charts) or hung above the chalkboard. These Charts cannot be found anywhere! Each one has a bit of weight to it, they are double sided and the artist of the beautiful illustrations is Weisbrodt Sc. Of Cincinnati Ohio. There is overall west to these consistent with its age, some foxing, surface paper loss and the multiplication chart had wax paper adhered to it at one point on one side. Some of the grommets have more wear but are still attached and ready to hang. The pen and ink illustrations are detailed and whimsical. There is wear on the edges of the boards as well, please inspect pictures thoroughly. These boards were stored standing up so they have a slight bend to them, could be straightened with weight or by framing. *Also pictured but not included is the type of school house catalog teachers would order from, picture of very similar "Monroe" Reading Charts and lastly a child's McGuffey Electric reader book that has samples of the charts within that book to read along with the teachers boards up front.* Measurements: Each board is 26" x 32" Weight: All three together; over 8 pounds.
