Description: 3 Gold Trim New Years Antique Postcards, 1900s. EMB. Attractive w Value This is a nice group of 3 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They have the classic New Years motifs such as holly and berries, wintery snow rural scenes, flowers, etc. These are EMBOSSED postcards and have GOLD TRIM. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are a very colorful group of postcards. One of the postcards shows a snowy rural home scene in the middle with green holly and red berries all around. Another shows a woman and child walking through the forest at sunset. This postcard has four leaf clovers and horseshoes for good luck. The last postcard has a wintery scene on the top, and a nicely designed red rose at the bottom. This postcard has nice white embossed flowers and border all around, as well as a gold hour glass. These postcards were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Years antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and their appeal to antique postcard and New Year collectors. The postcards are POSTED with cancel dates of 1909-1918. The postcards are EMBOSSED, most likely "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and with GOLD TRIM. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition.
