Description: 3 MCM Vintage EDWIN & MARY SCHEIER Mugs Studio Pottery Hand Painted Animals. These mugs were made by Edwin or Mary Scheier around the 1950s- 60s. Each hand thrown mug and is very thin and delicate edges with a graceful handle. It has a grey glaze with hand painted stylized leaping zebra, giraffe and what I think may be a deer. The bottoms are marked with the artist's name Scheier. Excellent condition with no chips, flea bites or flaws. Height: 5 1/2 inches. Diameter at rim: 3 1/4 inches.
