30s Romantic Creamy Yellow & Latte Victorian Floral Barkcloth Era Vintage Fabric

Description: The 1920's and 30's in the United States brought a re- birth of Victorianism to the design styles and aesthetics...homes were being built in a more victorian fashion and interiors were starting to look like late 1800's Victoriana. It was all about romanticism and softness...lots of layering with fabrics and lace...textiles were a fancy thing...dinner napkins were a necessity...and draperies puddled from 10 foot ceilings...huge overstuffed chairs showcased in rich patterns of brocades...satins...and decorator cottons. These are the patterns re-created again by Ralph Lauren in more recent decades. This offering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant cut of the dreamiest creamy corn yellow and latte with elegant scrolls in divine cocoas and chocolates...perhaps a hue of espresso...periwinklle and lavender blues...muted purple pinks...creamy limes and sage...with white accents. The beauty this relic would create for a huge pillow as the floral focal point of a room...this smooth rich cotton doesn't have a traditional barkcloth texture...is a medium weight and is just beyond charming.
