31" ABG 1362 Antique German Alt Beck Gottschlack Bisque Head Composition Body

Description: Embrace the enchantment of a bygone era with this remarkable Alt Beck Gottschalck 31" German bisque doll. She exudes timeless beauty with her open-close brown eyes, adorned with wonderful long lashes, and an open mouth, revealing a charming absence of teeth. Her original wig, (I believe) requires a skilled hairdresser's touch, adding to her authenticity and vintage allure. Draped in layers of clothing, including what appears to be a handmade ballerina-type net tulle outfit and various vintage layers. Despite the visible crazing and chipping on the composition body, the doll retains great coloring on the knees and head, and her flawless face shows no noticeable damage. Marked on the back of her neck with "Made in Germany" and the number 5, this doll carries the prestigious lineage of Alt Beck Gottschalk (ABG.) Antique earrings, a child's baby bracelet, and a beautiful hair barrette, all seemingly original, enhance her charm. While the face remains in mint condition, the swivel head is loose from the passage of time but still nicely attached. All joints bend and move there is slight chipping on the composition edges and crazing all over the body.
