Not exactly a dyno, but this procedure is performed on a engine test stand. The engine is tested for possible issue and addressed, we still recommend a breakin procedure that is included with all the paperwork.(ie) what oil,spark plugs, gaskets, ect to use.Engine is professional prep assembled in controlled environment. Each engine is pre-assembled to check all tolerances on each bearing, crank journal, end play. Piston clearance on cylinder, piston to valve, & deck clearance checked & set. Head cc's are checked. Each engine has the static & dynamic compression ratio set for maximum horsepower with desired fuel octane. Camshaft degree set along with correct valve train geometry.
